Aims of the session
- To raise awareness and provoke attendees to think about how OHS is going have to adapt and change in response to environmental, technical, social and demographic changes.
- To provide examples of these changes and how they present opportunities and risks for OHS practitioners.
- Discuss how the approaches, skillsets and competencies of an OHS practitioner may need to evolve.
We will consider:
- How can HSE professionals play a role in shaping positive health, safety and wellbeing outcomes, eliminating hazards, reducing risks, harmful exposures and unsafe working conditions, and enhancing the wellbeing of workers?
- What strategic changes will impact the future of work, and how will HSE programmes and professional need to change?
- How may our approach to OHS need to evolve?
- What are the challenges and opportunities for HSE professionals?
